Make a day excursion easy to follow
List the starting point, visits in order and desired return time. Mark any attraction entry or meal booking that sets a fixed deadline. Leave room for boarding, comfort stops and the walk between coach parking and the attraction.
A shorter list of visits with time to enjoy them is often easier to operate than a schedule built only from map driving times. Explain which stops are essential and which are optional so the proposed route can be checked against realistic vehicle access and timing.
Choose minibus or coach hire for the tour
Minibus hire may suit a smaller private group, while coach hire can accommodate larger parties and a different luggage requirement. The best choice depends on the actual specification, route and time spent travelling, not just the advertised seat count.
For an overnight tour, count suitcases and any equipment for every traveller. Mention mobility requirements and must-have onboard facilities early. If a guide joins the vehicle, include their seat and request any microphone arrangement needed for commentary.
Plan every day of a longer itinerary
Give the overnight location and expected start and finish for each day, including evening outings. This lets the operator assess vehicle use and driver scheduling across the whole trip. Driver accommodation, parking and any vehicle changes need to be agreed in the quote.
For cross-border tours, specify all countries and any ferry or other transport connection. Coverage, route permissions and availability are checked for the proposed itinerary. Travellers still need to make their own appropriate passport and entry arrangements.
Be clear about what the tour booking includes
Private transport does not automatically include a tour guide, attraction tickets, hotels or meals. If you need additional arrangements, identify them separately and confirm what can be provided. Do not assume the driver also provides guided commentary.
Ask for the price and included vehicle use against the written itinerary. Changes to stops, mileage or finish times may affect the booking. Keep the organiser contact available during travel and agree any amendments before asking the driver to change the route.

Can we create our own private coach tour itinerary?
Yes, send the route you would like to travel, with dates and fixed appointments. The transport plan is reviewed for timing, access, operator coverage and availability before quotation.
Is a tour guide included with the driver?
A driver is not automatically a tour guide. Request guiding or commentary separately and have any additional service confirmed in writing.
Can our minibus visit several attractions in one day?
Multiple stops can be requested when the timing and access work. Include entry times, intended visit lengths and the required return time so the itinerary can be assessed.
Are hotels and attraction tickets part of coach hire?
Not unless the written booking specifically includes them. The transport quote should clearly describe the vehicle use; accommodation, admission and meals are separate arrangements.
