BMW Welt and BMW Museum need different visit arrangements
The official BMW visitor information distinguishes BMW Welt from BMW Museum and their admission arrangements. Name the building and any booked tour in your Munich itinerary, rather than asking for a general “BMW visit”. Check the opening information for the actual date before setting the return time, especially if the group combines the museum with another timed activity.
The published visitor parking information is not a reservation for a coach. Ask the operator and venue to agree where passengers can leave the vehicle and where the driver waits during the visit. If some passengers explore independently while others join a tour, appoint one meeting place and a clear ready-to-board time for the whole group. The city explicitly distinguishes these stops from parking: coaches cannot be left there throughout the visit. Its guidance points to the central coach parking facility on Hansastraße for waiting. The driver should check current availability and conditions before the journey.
Check the vehicle and the day’s access conditions
Some Old Town stopping areas are within Munich’s environmental zone. Ask the operator to check the assigned vehicle’s eligibility and the route for the actual travel date. For a conference or large event, provide the organiser’s transport instructions as well as the venue address. A general visitor entrance may be different from the location used by a coach group.
