Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you submit a quote request or contact form, we collect the information you provide, which may include:

  • Name, email address and phone number
  • Journey details: pickup and destination, travel dates and times, passenger numbers and vehicle preference
  • Any message or additional details you choose to include

We do not collect payment card details through this website. If a form field is left blank by a genuine visitor but is filled in automatically (a hidden "honeypot" field), we treat the submission as spam and do not act on it.

2. How we use it

We use the information you submit solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quotation, arrange transport with the relevant local operator, and communicate with you about your booking. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Enquiry details are delivered to our operations team by email and recorded in our CRM to manage your request.

3. Third-party services used by this website

Google Maps location suggestions — when you type into a pickup or destination field, your search text and technical information, such as your IP address, are sent to Google to provide suggestions. You can enter a location manually without choosing a suggestion. Google processes this information under its Privacy Policy. We use the location you choose or enter to handle your transport enquiry.

This website relies on a small number of third-party services to work properly and to protect our forms from spam:

  • Google reCAPTCHA — verifies that form submissions come from a human, not automated software. Google may process technical data (such as your IP address and browser behaviour) under its own privacy policy.

Optional Analytics cookies

With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand website visits and improve our service. It measures pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, traffic sources and the number of successful quote enquiries. Google processes technical information to provide these reports under its Privacy Policy.

Analytics is off until you choose “Allow analytics”. If you allow it, first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_* can remain for up to 180 days. We store your allow or reject preference in this browser for 180 days. You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer. Rejecting Analytics does not prevent you from using the website or requesting a quote.

We do not send your name, email, telephone number, pickup address, destination address or message from the quote form to Analytics. Page URLs sent to Analytics exclude query strings and fragments. Advertising personalisation and Google Signals are disabled. Our SEO Command reporting tool has read-only access to the Analytics reports to help us review website performance.

4. Sharing with operators

To arrange your transport, we share the relevant journey details (and your contact details, where necessary for the operator to reach you or your group) with the vetted local operator or driver assigned to your booking. We only share what is needed to fulfil the specific booking.

5. Data retention

We keep enquiry and booking information for as long as reasonably necessary to handle your enquiry, fulfil a booking, deal with any follow-up questions, and meet our legal and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or to object to how it is used. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@globalbusrental.com.

7. Contact

Questions about this privacy policy can be sent to contact@globalbusrental.com or via our contact page.
