Metro Toronto Convention Centre lists separate street addresses for its North and South Buildings: 255 Front Street West and 222 Bremner Boulevard. Put the booked building, event name and registration entrance in your transport enquiry. A direction to the convention centre alone may leave a group facing an unnecessary walk with bags or presentation equipment.
The venue’s arrival guidance also describes pedestrian routes from Union Station, including the SkyWalk. These walking directions can help a group arriving by rail, but they do not establish where a coach may stop. Ask the organiser and operator to confirm a permitted set-down for the actual building and a separate return collection point.
If delegates stay in several hotels, include the addresses and the number boarding at each one, together with the time they must reach registration. An airport arrival carrying luggage may need a hotel stop before the conference. Describe equipment separately from passenger bags so capacity can be checked. Pearson charter-bus collection has a dispatch step
For a pre-arranged charter bus at Toronto Pearson, the airport tells passengers to contact the Groundside Traffic Officer at the Arrivals-level curb with the bus company name and charter number. The officer then dispatches the bus and directs the group to its collection point. Read Pearson’s pre-arranged transport instructions and obtain those booking details before travel.
Do not treat taxi and limousine door instructions as a charter-bus meeting point. Give the flight number and terminal, and agree how the group leader will contact the operator after everyone has collected their bags. If anyone uses a non-folding mobility aid, request confirmation that the assigned vehicle can accommodate it before accepting the quotation.
Billy Bishop arrivals need a mainland meeting plan
Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport is different from Pearson. Its island terminal connects to the mainland by a pedestrian tunnel with lifts and moving walkways. For a road transfer, agree the mainland collection point and allow for passengers to reach it with their luggage; do not simply reuse Pearson instructions.
