One brief for every group movement

Hotel collections

Name each hotel in Sapporo, its address and the passengers boarding there. Give one contact for each group if needed.

Venue arrivals

Record the venue entrance or meeting point and the required arrival time. Access details must be confirmed for the chosen vehicle.

Different finish times

Separate groups leaving at different times into clearly labelled movements, even when the destination is the same.

Okadama and New Chitose need different airport collections

Sapporo’s transport information distinguishes New Chitose Airport from Okadama Airport; Hokuto Kotsu operates a separate city–Okadama airport route. Identify the airport on the actual flight booking before requesting a group transfer. For a ski or winter itinerary, send the resort or hotel address, equipment quantities and the date of travel so the operator can plan luggage capacity and assess the conditions for that route. Do not treat a city airport-bus timetable as a guaranteed journey time for a private vehicle.

Use the Japan transport guide for a wider itinerary, or include your flight and final address in an airport group-transfer enquiry.

Your Sapporo transport questions

Is every Sapporo flight collected at New Chitose?

No. Check whether the booking names New Chitose or Okadama and provide the flight details. They are separate airport collection points.

How do I organise pickups at several Sapporo hotels?

List each hotel address, passenger count and preferred order. Use the Hokkaido location in the address to avoid similarly named properties, and indicate whether everyone needs to reach one venue at the same time.

Can the return transport split between Sapporo and Sendai?

Give a separate drop-off address and passenger count for each returning group. A movement ending in Sendai should be identified separately from those remaining in Sapporo; the vehicle allocation depends on the requested timings.

What flight information is needed for a OKD arrival?

For arrivals at Sapporo Okadama Airport (OKD), provide the flight number, date, terminal if known and expected luggage. Explain whether passengers go to hotels first or directly to a venue so the requested movement is clear.

How do the Sendai and Niigata stops compare from Sapporo?

From the Sapporo geographic reference, Sendai is approximately 535.3 km away in a straight line and Niigata is 604.3 km away. Sendai is listed in Miyagi; Niigata is listed in Niigata. The more distant stop needs to be treated as a separate stage of the itinerary, including any connections or overnight plans. These are map measurements, not driving distances; a feasible route and vehicle allocation must be assessed in the quotation.

Choose transport for your Sapporo itinerary

Compare coach hire with a driver with minibus hire for a smaller group. Passenger numbers, bags and collection access determine the suitable option; confirm availability and inclusions for your dates.

For hotel-to-venue movements, use the event shuttle planning guide to define pickup waves, group contacts and the final return departure. For the price discussion, the coach hire cost guide explains questions about waiting time, parking and additional stops.
