Read the transport guide

A Sengkang Riverside Park visit should identify the part of the park the group is using. The wetland activity, passenger walking route and vehicle pickup must fit together, especially when some participants need step-free access.

This local guide helps you prepare collection details. Compare vehicle and service choices on our Singapore bus and coach hire page, or use the form above to request transport for your itinerary. Availability and the final arrangements require an individual quotation.

Name the Riverside Park plot

NParks divides Sengkang Riverside Park into Visitor, Mangrove and Civic plots. Its visitor page lists a car park near the Fernvale Street entrance and notes that the pond areas are not wheelchair accessible, despite the park’s broader wheelchair-accessible designation.

Ask the activity leader which plot and paths are included, and check whether those meet the group’s mobility needs. Supply that route with the transport request rather than relying on a general accessibility label. The vehicle’s boarding equipment and the path from its agreed meeting point need separate confirmation.

Separate wetland activities from sports-centre bookings

If the day also uses a sports or community facility, provide that venue’s own address, booking and arrival instructions. A nearby park reference is not a substitute for the building entrance. State how long the outdoor activity lasts and whether the group changes venue on foot or needs the vehicle for that movement.

Details to include for Sengkang

Send the selected plot, activity finish, passenger assistance needs and the proposed return meeting place. Give the group leader’s contact and describe any equipment carried for the visit so a suitable vehicle arrangement can be assessed.

For a day that also involves Changi, a hotel or a central event venue, use the Singapore airport, hotel and venue pickup guide to prepare those additional collection instructions.

Sengkang planning questions

Is every part of Sengkang Riverside Park wheelchair accessible?

NParks specifically excludes the pond areas from its wheelchair-accessibility description. Check the planned activity route with the organiser and confirm the vehicle and boarding arrangements separately.

Does a Fernvale Street meeting point serve every park plot equally?

Choose the meeting point to suit the actual plot and walking route. The park has Visitor, Mangrove and Civic plots; agree where the group will assemble instead of assuming every visit finishes at the car park.

A related itinerary decision

If the itinerary continues along the wider waterways to Punggol, record the next park and meeting point as a separate movement using its guide. See Punggol Waterway collection planning.
