Allianz Riviera transfers: use the access plan for your event
Allianz Riviera’s official access guidance distinguishes major public events from corporate events held outside those periods. Put the event name and date in your enquiry, together with the entrance on the organiser’s instructions. Directions for an ordinary meeting should not be assumed to apply to a match or a large concert.
Ask the organiser to confirm the appropriate arrangements for your type of party, then have the operator check the coach approach, passenger set-down and waiting location. Published spectator car parks or event shuttles are not automatic access permission for a private coach. Give the group leader a written collection point and contact plan, especially if several parties leave the stadium at the same time.
Keep the advertised finish time separate from the time passengers expect to be ready to leave after walking out and regrouping. If the vehicle must then continue to Nice Airport or another Riviera hotel, include that deadline and the bags travelling with the party. Our sporting event transport page helps frame the complete request for a match-day group.

Prepare your Nice journey brief
- Arrival: If your flight uses Nice-Côte d'Azur Airport (NCE) or Toulon-Hyères Airport (TLN), give the airport on your ticket, flight number and arrival date. Add the full Nice hotel or venue address; these airport references do not establish a road route or a collection point.
- An airport arrival with several stops: If your flight is booked at Nice-Côte d'Azur Airport (NCE), use Antibes arrival planning and Cannes arrival planning for the separate hotel or venue addresses. Say whether the enquiry covers one continuous itinerary or individual local transfers, with passengers and bags for each leg.
- Group and return: Include passengers, luggage and mobility needs. Put any return date, pickup time and departure flight or train in the message field.
Other stops to consider
Compare Nice with these other destinations in France. Distances below are geographic references, not road distances or quoted journey times.
Arrange Nice Airport access for the actual vehicle
Nice Côte d’Azur Airport publishes a separate access process for coach operators. Its coach guidance distinguishes vehicles with ten or more seats from lighter vehicles and provides for short passenger movements at its bus stations. For several coaches attending an event, an overflow area near Terminal 2 may be available by prior reservation, subject to space.
Provide the flight terminal, total luggage and passenger numbers when requesting an airport group transfer. Ask which meeting point and vehicle facility apply, and how airport access and waiting will be charged. The terminal listed on the flight and the coach boarding point are separate details; confirm both before sending instructions to the group.
Separate the Nice stay from each Riviera transfer
The airport lists tram, scheduled bus, train connections and inter-terminal transport as different options. Those public-service stops do not establish a private coach meeting arrangement. Compare the whole journey to the hotel or event entrance, including any connection and the group’s bags, using the airport’s transport information.
For a programme continuing to Cannes or Antibes, supply the venue name and full address for every stop, not just “French Riviera”. Distinguish a direct airport transfer from a vehicle retained for hotel shuttles or excursions. A conference schedule should include delegate release times and a return collection location. Any further international leg should be stated at enquiry stage so the operator can assess permissions and itinerary feasibility.

Planning your Nice journey
What is the distance between NCE and Nice?
The airport and destination map references are approximately 6 km apart in a straight line. A road journey can differ substantially. Provide the actual address in Nice; the map distance is not a promise of transfer time or fare.
Where will our group meet the vehicle at NCE?
The meeting arrangement for Nice-Côte d'Azur Airport (NCE) must be confirmed with the booking. Do not assume a coach can collect at any terminal door. Give the flight and terminal details, and keep the lead passenger contact available for the agreed collection instructions.
Can we continue from Nice to Antibes?
Include the next stop in Antibes and its address in the initial brief. State whether it is a short visit, an overnight stay or the final destination; those are different vehicle and driver requirements.
How do the Antibes and Cannes stops compare from Nice?
From the Nice geographic reference, Antibes is approximately 17.7 km away in a straight line and Cannes is 26.5 km away. A further destination reference is Toulon, approximately 125.8 km from Nice. Compare the time needed at each visit before choosing the pickup order. These are map measurements, not driving distances; a feasible route and vehicle allocation must be assessed in the quotation.
Can several coaches meet an event group at Nice Airport together?
Give the number of vehicles and flight arrivals in advance. The airport identifies an overflow option near Terminal 2 subject to reservation and availability; the operator must confirm the actual access, waiting and passenger collection plan.
