Read the transport guide

Walking groups in Bukit Panjang should name a trail entrance and a finishing point. Zhenghua Nature Park is a linear park with several approaches, so the town name alone does not tell the driver where the group will be waiting.

This local guide helps you prepare collection details. Compare vehicle and service choices on our Singapore bus and coach hire page, or use the form above to request transport for your itinerary. Availability and the final arrangements require an individual quotation.

Choose among Zhenghua’s named entrances

NParks identifies three main entrances to Zhenghua Nature Park: Segar Road, Bangkit Road and Chestnut Avenue. It describes the park as a 2.5-kilometre green link between Bukit Panjang Park Connector and the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve area.

Share the intended entrance with the walk leader and vehicle operator. A pedestrian trail entrance is not automatically an authorised coach stop. Confirm where boarding can take place and how far participants must walk between that point and the trail.

A through-walk needs two collection instructions

If the group enters at one end and leaves at another, request separate arrival and collection points. Include the expected finish and a plan for any walkers who end early. Where a proposed route extends beyond Zhenghua, use the full name of the next park and check its own visitor guidance rather than treating every connected green space as one venue.

Details to include for Bukit Panjang

List the chosen entrance, the walking direction, the return meeting location and any mobility or equipment needs. Check the current NParks guidance for organised group activities and access notices; the transport quote covers the requested vehicle movements, not permission for a park activity.

For a day that also involves Changi, a hotel or a central event venue, use the Singapore airport, hotel and venue pickup guide to prepare those additional collection instructions.

Bukit Panjang planning questions

Can we just specify Zhenghua Nature Park on the enquiry?

Add Segar Road, Bangkit Road or Chestnut Avenue as appropriate to your walking plan, plus the agreed vehicle boarding location. Those entrances serve different approaches to the linear park.

What if we finish nearer a different entrance?

Name both the arrival point and the later collection point, with the walk leader’s expected finish time. The route can then be assessed without assuming the vehicle will wait where it first dropped the group.

A related itinerary decision

For a separate quarry stop, the Bukit Batok guide helps identify the correct park and walking activity; include that stop explicitly rather than extending a trail booking by assumption. See Bukit Batok quarry-visit guidance.
