Plan your Mexico group transport around the arrival point, overnight bases and stops on your itinerary. Send the route and passenger details to check the proposed arrangements.
Transport choices in Mexico
Mexico City’s AICM has separate terminals with its own inter-terminal transport arrangements. That distinction matters when preparing a group pickup: the city name alone does not identify the airport, terminal or passenger meeting point. Mexico City International Airport’s terminal-transport guide.
Airport identity and the full regional route
Use the airport code and terminal shown on the flight booking, with the final hotel or venue address. For a programme continuing to Guadalajara, Monterrey or another region, list overnight bases and any domestic flights. If a visit requires a particular entrance or timed admission, provide it before the vehicle and collection point are confirmed.
For the local part of your request, explore Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey.
Mexico City inter-terminal transport has its own conditions
AICM distinguishes its Aerotrén for eligible connecting passengers with flight documentation from the terminal buses available to the general public. A group member cannot assume that every airport terminal-transfer option is available simply because they need to meet another arrival.
For private hire, identify Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 on each flight and agree whether collections stay separate or use a coordinated meeting plan. If the onward flight is from a different airport, request that as a separate road journey with both airports named. For a programme continuing to another Mexican region, specify domestic flights and the local transfers around them; neither an inter-terminal service nor a Mexico City hotel transfer establishes that wider vehicle duty.

Use the actual airport and venue entrance
List airport codes, terminals and complete hotel addresses, followed by the dated programme in each city. For a timed visit or event, give the visitor entrance and departure waves. Regional travel using domestic flights needs local road legs identified at both ends.
Review coach hire for coordinated larger groups and minibus hire for smaller parties. Confirm luggage space, the agreed pickup and applicable waiting, parking, toll or overnight costs.
Specify the arrival region and the end of each duty
Baja California and Yucatán
The Tijuana and Mérida guides cover different regional bases. Use the relevant guide to prepare the arrival, hotel and local visits, then show any flight connecting the regions separately. If a Tijuana programme includes an international border crossing, identify that requirement in the enquiry; local vehicle hire alone does not confirm cross-border operation or the passenger arrangements.
Your Mexico transport questions
Why does a Mexico City pickup need an airport code and terminal?
They identify the actual collection point. AICM itself has separate terminals, and a city-name-only request leaves the arrival location unclear.
What details are needed for group transport in Mexico?
List airport codes, terminals and complete hotel addresses, followed by the dated programme in each city. For a timed visit or event, give the visitor entrance and departure waves. Regional travel using domestic flights needs local road legs identified at both ends. Confirm the proposed vehicle and quote inclusions before booking.
Can anyone use AICM’s Aerotrén to meet a group in another terminal?
The airport sets eligibility and flight-document conditions for Aerotrén use, and separately describes public terminal buses. Check current requirements and confirm the group’s actual private-transfer meeting plan.

Connect the arrival airport with the actual destination
Start with the airport on the flight booking, then identify the actual hotel or venue entrance in the relevant city guide. Include the terminal, passenger and luggage totals, and required arrival time. The operator must confirm the collection point and route; a geographic airport reference does not establish a passenger service or transfer availability.
